Denmark Industrial Production Climbs In August

Denmark's industrial production increased in August after falling in the previous two months, figures from Statistics Denmark showed Friday.

Industrial production rose a seasonally adjusted 4.0 percent month-over-month in August, reversing a 1.3 percent decrease in July.

Production in the furniture and other industries grew the most by 13.8 percent annually in August, followed by pharmaceutical industry by 11.7 percent spike.

On an annual basis, industrial production climbed 3.8 percent in August.
