Incubus Postpone Las Vegas Residency

Incubus has announced that they will postpone their residency in Las Vegas following the mass shooting in that city earlier this week. The band was scheduled to perform five nights in Sin City at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on October 7, 8, 11, 13, and 14.

The shows were to come in support of their current release 8, but the band has announced that they will push the dates back out of respect for the victims of the shooting. In an official statement the band sent "their deepest thoughts and sympathies with the victims, their families, the first responders and the Las Vegas community."

Brandon Boyd had previously opened up about the five-night run and said they were excited and a little nervous:

"Honestly, it was something that was a little bit intimidating," he stated. "It's a big bite to take, but that challenge intrigued us. It's an opportunity to stretch out a bit more than we have before. The most we've ever done in Vegas is two nights, and we may have done three nights someplace else. But we've never done five anywhere."
