Banco Santander 9-month Attributable Profit Rises - Quick Facts

Banco Santander S.A. (BNC.L, BSBR,SAN), a Spanish retail and commercial bank, Thursday reported that its attributable profit for nine months rose 10 percent to 5.077 billion euros. Earnings per share grew 0.316 euro from 0.298 euro.

On an underlying basis, attributable profit increased 15.2 percent to 5.592 billion euros, and earnings per share rose 11.2 percent to 0.350 euro from 0.315 euros.

Net interest income for nine-month period grew 11.7 percent to 25.689 billion euros.
