Finish Line Posting Steep Loss On Downgrade By Cowen

After falling sharply early in the session, shares of Finish Line (FINL) continue to see substantial weakness in afternoon trading on Friday. After hitting its lowest intraday level in well over a month, Finish Line is currently down by 10.6 percent.

The steep drop by Finish Line comes after Cowen downgraded its rating on the athletic apparel retailer to Underperform from Market Perform.

Athletic footwear giant Nike, Inc. on Thursday announced a new marketing head, in its efforts to boost market share. The company promoted Dirk-Jan "DJ" van Hameren as its VP, Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately.
