Uber's third-quarter adjusted loss widened to $743 million, up 14 percent from the previous quarter, the Financial Times reported Tuesday, citing new documents sent to shareholders.

The ride-hailing company's net revenue was $2 billion, up 14 percent sequentially. Quarterly gross bookings were $9.7 billion.

As per the report, the figures were included in documents that were sent to Uber shareholders as part of a complex investment deal in which a SoftBank-led consortium is seeking to invest between $7 billion and $10 billion in Uber.
