Royal Bank of Canada Reveals 12% Increase In Q4 Profit

Royal Bank of Canada (RY.TO) reported a profit for its fourth quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at C$2.84 billion, or C$1.88 per share. This was higher than C$2.54 billion, or C$1.65 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 12.4% to C$10.52 billion. This was up from C$9.36 billion last year.
