Trey Songz Facing Lawsuit Over Alleged Strip Club Assault

Trey Songz has been slapped with a lawsuit after allegedly slapping a fan during a visit to a strip club. According to the suit, Songz had sold tickets to a meet-and-greet at the VIP section of a Philadelphia strip club called the Vanity Grand Cabaret and slapped a woman's phone out of her hand at the event, hitting her in the face and breaking the phone.

The plaintiff is seeking $50,000 in damages from both Songz and the club, claiming that knew he had a a history of "violence and negative interaction with the public." The incident is not Trigga's first assault rap, however, as he also agreed to a plea deal in 2016 after a tantrum following a show at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

During this altercation, his set was cut short at which time he threatened staff at the venue that he was going to "go the f*ck crazy," and began smashing props and items on the stage including glass items. He was later charged with obstructing a police officer and aggravated assault.
