Indonesia's inflation accelerated in December, data from the statistics bureau revealed Tuesday.
Consumer prices advanced 3.61 percent year-on-year in December, faster than the 3.3 percent increase seen in November.
The central bank targeted 3-5 percent inflation for 2017.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices gained 0.71 percent in December.
Meanwhile, core inflation that excludes volatile food prices and administered prices, eased slightly to 2.95 percent from 3.05 percent in the previous month.
