Common To Play In NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

Common will be taking to a different stage come NBA All-Star Weekend, as he will play in the NBA Celerity All-Star Game. He will also serve as an assistant coach.

ESPN announced that The Jump host Rachel Nichols and ESPN commentator Katie Nolan will serve as the coaches for the celebrity basketball game. Joining Nichols on the Team Lakers roster is Hall of Famer Tracy McGrady and Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan, while Paul Pierce and Common will assist Nolan in coaching Team Clippers.

Joining Common's team are Jamie Foxx, Dascha Polanco (Orange Is the New Black), NBA veteran Jason Williams, and Anthony Anderson and Miles Brown from ABC's black-ish. Nichols' lineup for Team Lakers includes Nick Cannon, Jerry Ferrara (Power), Caleb McLaughlin (Stranger Things), McGrady and Nate Robinson, among others.

The NBA All-Star Celebrity Basketball Game will take place February 16 at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
