Disturbed's Immortalized Certified Platinum

Disturbed has scored a platinum album with Immortalized. The album's success has been driven largely by their cover of Simon and Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence" which was certified double platinum back in May.

The band also revealed recently that it has reconnected with producer Kevin Churko and is hard at work at the Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. They have not released a new album since Immortalized back in 2015.

The band shared an image of a recording console on social media a few weeks ago. They captioned the image: "Getting started . . . #disturbedones."

Disturbed revealed last year that they were planning to release a new acoustic EP. It is unclear if that is what the band is currently working on, or if it is for an electric full-length album that they have also been planning.
