Lynyrd Skynyrd has signed on to appear at Charlie Daniels' upcoming Volunteer Jam event. The fest is set to take place on March 7 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and will feature a collection of rock and country's biggest acts including, of course, Daniels.

"Lynyrd Skynyrd is one of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time. We're honored that they are joining this extraordinary lineup of artists before they embark on the farewell tour," says Blackbird Presents CEO Keith Wortman, who's serving as executive producer of Volunteer Jam XX: A Tribute to Charlie.

Tickets for the event are currently available via Ticketmaster. The annual event serves as a fundraiser for the Journey Home Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization co-founded by Daniels and manager David Corlew to help veterans.
