Dustin Lynch Opens Up About ACM Snub

Dustin Lynch has opened up about his disappointment at being snubbed in the ACM nominations. He reacted to the news in a video posted to his social media this week and questioned what more he needs to do to catch the eye of the ACM nominators.

"Well, we successfully didn't get nominated again," Lynch said after the nominees were announced. "["Small Town Boy" was a] career-changing song, I don't get it. What am I missing, you know? It just sucks. It's like we're playing with one, maybe two hands tied behind our back," the singer went on to say. "Bummer, man. I worked freakin' hard for this."

He also recently hit Instagram to tell fans that he's hoping to give them a better glimpse at what his life is like off stage:

"I think we can work on that," the singer said. "That's why I want to let everybody in behind this curtain of what goes on in my life, how hard I work at every aspect of what I do, and make a little bit more of a personal connection."
