BRAZIL: Economists Trim 2018 GDP Growth Estimate To 2.76% From 2.80%

(Agencia CMA Latam) - Economists surveyed by the Brazilian central bank cut their forecasts for economic growth in 2018 for the third consecutive week to 2.76% from 2.80% last week. For 2019, GDP growth projections remained at 3.00% for the eleventh week.

Projections for Brazil's debt-to-GDP ratio remained stable at 55.00% for 2018, but decreased to 57.00 in 2019, from 57.20% last week.

Projections for the Brazilian industrial output growth in 2018 decreased to 3.97%, from 4.29% a week before, while the 2019 forecast remained at 3.50%.
