BRAZIL: Analysts Increase 2018 Primary Deficit Forecast To R$ 138.5 Billion

(Agencia CMA Latam) - Analysts have increased their estimates for the Brazilian primary deficit in 2018 to R$ 138.5 billion, from R$ 136.1 billion a month before, according to a government survey. The 2019 primary deficit estimate fell to R$ 105.9 billion, from R$ 107.3 billion.

Brazil targets a R$ 159 billion primary deficit this year and a R$ 139 billion primary deficit for the next year.
