UnitedHealth Board Raises Dividend - Quick Facts

The Board of UnitedHealth Group (UNH) authorized payment of a cash dividend of $0.90 per share, to be paid on June 26, 2018, to all shareholders of record as of the close of business on June 18, 2018. The dividend represents a 20% increase over the quarterly dividend of $0.75 per share the company paid in the second quarter of 2017.

The Board also renewed the company's share repurchase program, authorizing the purchase over time of 100 million shares, or approximately 10 percent of the shares outstanding.
