AMC To Offer Something Like MoviePass

AMC, the largest theater chain in the U.S., has announced that it will offer a movie subscription service like MoviePass, which will allow customers to watch up to three movies a week for $19.95 a month.

Stubs A-List, AMC's reply to MoviePass, will be launched on June 26. AMC members can see up to 3 movies every week including all premium formats such as Dolby Cinema, IMAX, PRIME, RealD 3D, BigD and D-Box at any of U.S locations.

Members can make advance reservations online and via the AMC app for free. Repeat viewings are allowed for members, and movie allowance resets every Friday morning.

AMC Stubs A-List members will receive all the same benefits that an AMC Stubs Premiere member receives with the addition of seeing up to 3 movies per week.

Meanwhile, Stubs A-List unfortunately requires a three-month minimum commitment.
