The Republican Governors Association has released a new television advertisement in the Nevada governor's race, highlighting Democratic Party's gubernatorial candidate Steve Sisolak's support for raising property taxes on Nevada homeowners.

"Steve Sisolak has routinely supported higher taxes and fees, and now he wants to raise property taxes on Nevada's working families," said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson.

39-year old Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt is the Republican Candidate in Nevada for the November mid term election.

GOP has enjoyed a two-decade-long stranglehold on the Nevada Governor's Office.

Thompson said that while Adam Laxalt has stood firm in opposing property tax hikes, Sisolak wants to force homeowners to pay more. "Nevada can't trust Steve Sisolak to lead," he added.

Meanwhile, Politico reported quoting Advertising Analytics data that the Republican Governors Association has cut its ad buys in Minnesota and Michigan, where President Donald Trump made a stunning performance in the 2016 election.

Democrat candidates for governor are surging back in the Midwestern states, according to the news outlet.
