Philippines Manufacturing Sector Picks Up Steam - Nikkei

The manufacturing sector in the Philippines continued to expand in November, and at a faster rate, the latest survey from Nikkei revealed on Monday with a manufacturing PMI score of 54.2.

That's up from 54.0 in October, and it moves further above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.

Individually, production rose at the fastest rate since December 2016.

Export orders declined for the third straight month, while input price inflation cooled to its slowest rate this year.
