Dollar General Corp. (DG) Is Falling After Outlook Cut

Dollar General Corp. (DG) reported third quarter EPS of $1.26 Tuesday morning, up from $0.93 in the prior year period. The result was in line with analysts' expectations.

The company also lowered its full year EPS forecast to between $5.85 and $6.05, from the prior range of $5.95 to $6.15. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $6.11.

Dollar General gapped open sharply lower this morning and is now down 5.40 at $106.29. The stock has fallen to a 1-week low.
