Fossil Set New 52-Week High Tuesday

Fossil Inc. (FOSL) reported third quarter EPS of $0.52 Tuesday morning, down from the $0.54 posted last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.42. The company also increased its fourth quarter EPS forecast to between $0.82 and $0.86, from prior expectations of $0.74 to $0.80. Fossil also raised its full year EPS guidance to between $1.85 and $1.89, from previous expectations of $1.63 to $1.73.

Fossil Inc. gapped open higher Tuesday and climbed in early trade. The stock settled into a range for the majority of the session and closed up by $2.61 at $31.52 on strong volume. Fossil rose above a 2-month range and set a new high for the year.
