Parlux Fragrances Inc. (PARL) saw significant buying interest on Friday after the company reported a rise in fiscal year 2008 earnings. Shares gapped open higher and continued to climb throughout the morning. The stock pared some of its gain in the afternoon, but still closed at $4.87 up $1.47.
The advance came on strong volume and moved the stock over its 200-day average and to its highest level since mid-October.
