Manpower Inc. (MAN) reported second quarter EPS of $1.34 Friday morning, which included a net charge of $0.18 per diluted share. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $1.50. Third quarter EPS is expected to come in between $1.45 and $1.49, compared to the consensus estimate of $1.58.
Manpower gapped down Friday and fell sharply in early trade. The stock dropped further around midday and closed lower by $8.58 at $47.55 on the highest volume of the year. The stock fell below support to close at a new low for the year.
