Thursday, Limited Brands, Inc. (LTD) reported that comparable store sales for the month of June decreased 9% over last year.
The company reported net sales of $1.022 billion for June, down from $1.205 billion last year.
Year-to-date, comparable store sales decreased 8% over last year. Net sales fell to $3.608 billion from $4.290 billion a year ago.
The company noted that 2007 net sales include Express sales through July 6, 2007, and Limited Stores sales through Aug. 3, 2007.
Limited Brands is currently trading at $15.46, down $0.70 or 4.33%.
