Hungarian Forint Falls From 3-day High Against Greenback

The Hungarian forint lost ground after hitting a 3-day high of 183.48 against the US dollar during Thursday's early Asian deals. At 2:20 am ET, the forint slipped to 185.40 versus the dollar, compared to 183.82 hit late New York Wednesday. On the downside, 189.2 is seen as the next target level for the Hungarian currency.

Hungary's trade surplus stood at EUR2.5 billion in the January to July period, reversing a deficit of EUR136 million in the previous year, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office said today.
