Wednesday, Interserve plc (IRV.L) said it won a £40 millioncontract to create an industrial development in Jebel Ali through its Dubai associate company Khansaheb Civil Engineering. The company added that the work will commence in November and will continue for about 12 months.
The company stated that the project involved the construction of an extensive factory complex for the Ducab HV joint venturecomprising Dubai Cable Company or DUCAB, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority or DEWA and Abu Dhabi Electricity and Water Authority or ADWEA. The complex is focused on the manufacture of electric cables for use both in the local market and for export, Interserve noted.
