(RTTNews) - Lender Processing Services (LPS: News ) reported third quarter EPS of $0.83 after the close Thursday, which beat the consensus estimate of $0.77. The company expects to report fourth quarter EPS of $0.77 to $0.79 and full year 2009 EPS of $3.07 to $3.09. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.77 and $3.00 respectively.

Lender Processing Services spiked to the upside after the open Friday and climbed throughout the middle portion of the trading day. Shares finished up by $3.18 at $43.99. The stock rose above over a one-week range and set a new high for the year.
