(RTTNews) - Honeywell India Wednesday said it would establish a four lakh sq.ft. technology centre in Gurgaon at an investment of $34 million or around Rs.157 crore to expand its global research capabilities in refining, petrochemical and other technologies.
International President (India) Anil Gupta said the centre would primarily have pilot plans for developing and demonstrating refining and petro chemical process technology.
The company said the centre would come up at its own property, and would be managed by UOP India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UOP that has an existing 250-person process technology engineering centre in Gurgaon.
The company also plan to employ around 100 persons in the next five years in the centre.
The company operates in aerospace, automation and control solutions and transportation system.
