(RTTNews) -
Lil Wayne's upcoming studio album,
Rebirth, has been pushed back yet again, along with the debut compilation from Young Money Entertainment,
We Are Young Money.
The albums are now expected to make their debuts on December 22, instead of the previously planned date of December 15. If this date remains official, they will have to compete against other high profile releases such as
Usher's
Raymond vs. Raymond,
Mary J. Blige's
Stronger With Each Tear and
Eminem's
Relapse: Refill.
Lil Wayne's album will be released as a two-disc package with
We Are Young Money. Featured guests on
Young Money include
Lloyd,
Pleasure P,
Birdman and
Gucci Mane.
Lil Wayne earned various honors, including eight Grammy Award nominations, for his last release, 2008's
Tha Carter III. The rapper has also recently had two number one singles on the
Billboard Hot 100. Both "Lollipop," from
Tha Carter III, and
Jay Sean's "Down," on which Weezy makes a guest appearance, hit the top spot.
