Nelly's Black And White Ball

Nelly hosted his Fourth Annual Black and White Ball at the Chase Park Plaza hotel on Sunday night in St. Louis. The ball was a benefit for Nelly's Black and White Scholarship Program, which provides full-tuition college scholarships for two deserving students.

"I feel like I don't have a choice to do this," Nelly told the St. Louis American about his charity. "This is something that I must do."

Notable guests included Jermaine Dupri, Jackie Joyner-Kersee and Bill Bellamy.

"Nelly's Black and White Ball is fire. Way to go Louie," Bellamy tweeted.

Over the past three years, many celebrities have become involved with the Black and White Ball. Attendees and performers have included Janet Jackson, Allen Iverson, D.L. Hughley, Evander Holyfield, Boyz II Men, Ashanti, Ruben Studdard, Steven Jackson, Jim Edmonds and Torry Holt.
