(RTTNews) - Alicia Keys has begun putting together dates for an arena tour this spring in support of her new album, The Element of Freedom. The trek is currently scheduled to kick off on February 28 in Montreal.
Keys is currently planning nine additional dates in March and early April, including a show at New York's Madison Square Garden on March 17, and one in Los Angeles on April 6.

The Element of Freedom, Keys' fourth studio album and a follow up to her triple-platinum 2007 effort, As I Am, was released earlier this week.
"Doesn't Mean Anything," the first single from Freedom, was released in September, followed by "Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart" in November. Keys' collaboration with Beyoncé, "Put it in a Love Song," is also featured on the new album.
