Monday, Equifax Inc. (EFX) appointed David Webb as Chief Information Officer. Webb will join the company's Senior Leadership Team. Webb's primary responsibility will be to drive the company's global technology strategy and to champion the development of innovative solutions for customers.
Webb, a veteran of the IT and financial services industries, brings more than 25 years' experience to Equifax. His career encompasses a number of prestigious Fortune 100 companies including Goldman Sachs, Bank One Corp. and GE Capital.
Equifax Inc. collects, organizes, and manages various financial, demographic, employment, and marketing information primarily in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Brazil. The company's U.S. Consumer Information Solutions segment includes consumer information services.
