Robert Plant will perform for the Sound & Vision charity show in London on behalf of Cancer Research U.K. The show will take place at London's Abbey Road Studios on February 25 and will be broadcast live by Absolute Radio. "Performing at Sound & Vision is something I'm really excited about," the former Led Zeppelin frontman said in a statement. "Cancer Research U.K. is a very worthwhile cause, and when Bob [Harris] asked me to get involved I didn't hesitate." Plant also commented on what is in store for the upcoming performance.
"My set is quite different from anything I've ever done before, as I'll be performing with Beth [Neilson Chapman] and a full choir onstage."
Chapman is an American singer-songwriter. She will perform at the event with Plant and the London Oriana Choir.
VIP tickets to the charity show, which are available from Soundandvisionebay.com, will enable fans to meet performers. Plant fans can also bid on tickets through E-Bay.
