Seychelles CPI Falls For Second Month In January

Consumer prices in the Seychelles fell 2.2% year-on-year in January, the National Statistics Bureau said Tuesday. It follows a 2.5% decline in December.

Food price index, excluding fish fell 8.7% in January. Fish prices rose 45.6%. Prices for alcoholic beverages dropped 7.3%.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 1.4% in January, faster than the 0.4% increase in December.
