Chris Brown is reaching out to his fans to help keep his career on track. In a recently recorded audio message, the often troubled star pleaded with fans to reach out to radio stations, claiming that his career could be over unless fans help him stay "relevant on the radio."

The plea comes just months after Brown publicly lambasted the music industry for allegedly blackballing his latest release, following fan reports that his album was not prominently displayed in stores.

"A lot of radio stations aren't playing my records," Brown said in a statement posted to audio blogging site SayNow. "They are not being that supportive and I wouldn't expect them to. It's on the fans and what you guys do in your power to bring me back. That's all I need is you guys and nothing else will do that except for the fans."

Brown's latest release, Graffiti, hit store shelves in December. The offering features the singles "Crawl" and "I Can Transform Ya."
