Guess? Inc. Pulled Back After Q2 Report

Guess? Inc. (GES) reported second quarter EPS of $0.72 after the close Wednesday, up from $0.64 last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.68. The company expects to report third quarter EPS of $0.55 to $0.58 and full year 2011 EPS of $2.80 to $2.85. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.57 and $2.92.

Guess? Inc. gapped open sharply lower Thursday and pulled back in early trade, before settling into a narrow range. Shares finished down by 4.09 at $34.14 on the highest volume of the year.
