South Korea Money Supply Growth Slows

The Bank of Korea on Wednesday said that L money supply - the broadest measure of money supply in the country - rose 9.4% on a yearly basis in July, slower than the 9.5% increase in the previous month.

On a monthly basis, L money supply was up a seasonally adjusted 0.6%.

At the same time, M2 money supply grew 9.1% annually, faster than the 9% rise seen in the prior month.
