Earnings Watch For March 9 (AEO, CWTR, HRB, NAV)

Teen clothing retailer American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (AEO) is scheduled to report quarterly results before the market opens. For the fourth quarter, the company is expected to earn $0.43 per share on revenues of $919.58 million. In the same quarter a year earlier, the company recorded earnings of $0.33 per share on revenues of $971.98 million. The shares closed Tuesday's trade at $14.80. (The stock gained around 2% in Q4; MA(50)- $14.87; MA(100)- $15.43; 52-wk H/L $19.64/$11.35)

Coldwater Creek Inc. (CWTR) is due to report results for the fourth quarter after the market closes. It is expected that the specialty retailer will report a loss of $0.26 per share compared to the loss of $0.10 per share last year, on revenues of $282.75 million. CWTR closed Tuesday's session at $2.90. (The stock plunged nearly 40% in Q4; MA(50)- $2.96; MA(100)- $3.17; 52-wk H/L $8.75/$2.71)

After the market closes, H&R Block Inc. (HRB), a provider of tax consulting services, is slated to post third-quarter results. The company is expected to report break-even results per share on revenues of $849.29 million, while in the year-ago quarter, the company earned $0.16 per share on revenues of $934.85 million. On the NYSE, the company's shares closed regular trade at $15.02. (The stock declined around 7% in Q4; MA(50)- $13.27; MA(100)- $12.81; 52-wk H/L $18.99/$10.13)

Trucks and other vehicles maker Navistar International Corp. (NAV) will report quarterly results today. For the first quarter, the company is expected to record profit of $0.23 per share, flat with last year, on revenues of $2.9 billion. The company's shares closed Tuesday's session at $60.86. (The stock gained nearly 33% in Q4; MA(50)- $61.68; MA(100)- $57.46; 52-wk H/L $67.37/$39.85)

Additionally, Bon-Ton Stores Inc. (BONT), The Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc. (PLCE), Korn/Ferry International (KFY), Evergreen Solar Inc. (ESLR), FuelCell Energy Inc. (FCEL), The Men's Wearhouse, Inc. (MW), Semtech Corp. (SMTC) and Jo-Ann Stores, Inc. (JAS) are due to report their results today.
