Fidelity Southern Corp. (LION) on Thursday reported that its second quarter net income plunged to $5 thousand or breakeven per share from $2.1 million or $0.22 per share in the previous year quarter.
On average, four analysts surveyed by First Call/Thomson Financial estimated earnings of $0.04 per share.
Net interest income after provision for loan losses fell to $7.3 million from $10.0 million in last year quarter. Non-interest income remained flat at $4.3 million.
