BRE Properties, Inc. (BRE) said it elected Edward Lange, Jr. vice president and chief operating officer to the Board of Directors. The company also approved the promotion of Kerry Fanwick, senior vice president, general counsel to executive vice president, general counsel. Both the appointments were effective immediately.
With the addition of Lange to the Board, the current Board comprises ten members. Lange joined BRE in 2000 as executive vice president, chief financial officer. Lange became the chief operating officer in January 2007.
Fanwick is the co-founder and former partner of Miller & Fanwick, a law frim specializing in business and financial strategies.
