Tuesday, Isolagen Inc. (ILE)said its wrinkle treatment met all primary goals in two pivotal, Phase III clinical studies and the results were highly statistically significant.
The company said its novel therapy uses a person's own cells for the treatment of wrinkles. Based on these results, Isolagen plans to file its Biologics License Application or BLA with the FDA In early 2009.
Isolagen is currently conducting a Phase II/III clinical program to investigate this novel therapy for treating moderate to severe acne scars.
