Tecumseh Products Co. (TECUA) on Wednesday said it would hold a special meeting of shareholders on November 21, 2008. The record date for the meeting would be October 17, 2008.
The company noted that the agenda for the meeting would include a proposal by the Herrick Foundation, a large holder of the company's voting shares, seeking the removal of Peter Banks and David Risley from the company's board of directors and, to the extent that removal is approved, the election of replacements for them.
