Arbitron Inc. (ARB) announced Wednesday morning that it joined in a Stipulated Order on Consent with the Attorney General of the State of New York, which resolves all claims against Arbitron from the lawsuit filed on October 9, 2008. Arbitron Inc. climbed steadily throughout the later half of Wednesday morning and finished up by $2.12 at $16.36 on above average volume. The stock rose above a trading range and closed at over a 6-week high.
