European Economics Preview: U.K. Distributive Trade Survey Results Due

Tuesday, major reports due for the day include CBI Distributive Trade survey results from the United Kingdom and French consumer confidence.
At 3:00 am ET, Switzerland's UBS private consumption data for September is due. Last month, the UBS consumption indicator stood at 0.66.
At 3:45 am ET, the French statistical agency INSEE is expected to release quarterly business survey results. At the same time, the French housing starts data is also due.
The French consumer confidence report for October is due a little later at 3:50 am ET. Consumer sentiment is expected to rise slightly to minus 35 from minus 36 in the previous month.
At 4:30 am ET, economic think tank ISAE is set to issue consumer confidence data for Italy. In October, the index is forecast to rise to 113.7 from 113.6.
In the meantime, the Statistics Netherlands is expected to release producer confidence survey results for October. Economists expect the Dutch producer sentiment indicator to improve to minus 9 from minus 9.8, on a seasonally adjusted basis.
Producer price data from Statistics Sweden is also due at 4:30 am ET. In September, producer prices are expected to fall 0.5% on a monthly basis, faster than the 0.9% drop seen in the previous month.
At 5:00 am ET, the European Central Bank is scheduled to issue money supply data. In September, Eurozone M3 money supply growth is seen at a seasonally adjusted 2.2% year-on-year, slower than the 2.5% rise in the preceding month. For the three months to September period, M3 money supply is forecast to grow 2.5% annually.
Afterwards at 7:00 am ET, the Confederation of British Industry is set to release October's Distributive Trade survey results. Last month, the balance between retailers who reported an increase in sales against those who reported a decrease in sales stood at 3%.
