(RTTNews) -  Mylan, Inc. (MYL: News ) Monday said its subsidiary Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc., received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its Abbreviated New Drug Application for Sumatriptan Succinate Tablets, 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg. Mylan's Sumatriptan Succinate Tablets are the generic version of GlaxoSmithKline's migraine treatment Imitrex. The product is manufactured in Mylan's Morgantown, W.Va. Facility.

According to IMS Health, the product had total U.S. sales of approximately $934 million for the 12 months ending June 30 for the same strengths.
