(RTTNews) -  Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. (NUS: News ), a provider of personal care products and nutritional supplements, Tuesday increased its fourth quarter and fiscal 2009 guidance citing its pre-launch of ageLOC skin care system and anticipated trend improvement in Japan during the fourth quarter as well as foreign exchange benefits. The company provided outlook for fiscal 2010 as well.

Provo, Utah-based Nu Skin currently estimates fourth quarter earnings in the range of $0.37 to $0.39 per share, including a planned $0.01 per share restructuring charge. The company's previous earnings guidance ranges from $0.32 to $0.34 per share. Fourth quarter revenue is currently estimated to be in the range of $360 to $365 million, up from the prior guidance of $343 to $348 million.

On average, seven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expects the company to report earnings of $0.36 per share for the fourth quarter. Analysts estimate revenues of $347.98 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Commenting on, Nu Skin President and Chief Executive Officer Truman Hunt said, "We are raising our guidance primarily due to a very successful prelaunch of our flagship ageLOC skin care system at our global distributor convention, as well as our anticipation that Japan will continue to see a small trend improvement in the fourth quarter."

"...we expect a weaker dollar will benefit our results slightly more than we had anticipated," Hunt added.

Nu Skin said it raised its fiscal 2009 revenue and earnings guidance based on the momentum it is generating in the business. Earnings per share for 2009 is expected to range from $1.30 to $1.32, including restructuring charges of about $0.13 per share. Previously, the company projected earnings in the range of $1.25 to $1.27 per share for the fiscal 2009.
Annual revenue is currently anticipated to be in the range of $1.313 to $1.318 billion, compared to the previous guidance range of $1.29 billion to $1.30 billion.

Analysts estimate earnings of $1.41 per share on revenues of $1.30 billion for the fiscal 2009.

For fiscal 2010, the company expects earnings in the range of $1.60 to $1.70 per share, on revenues which ranges from $1.37 to $1.40 billion. Analysts expect earnings of $1.62 per share on revenues of $1.39 billion for the fiscal 2010.

NUS last traded on Monday at $26.15 on the NYSE.
