WebTech Wireless Reduces Full-time Workforce By More Than 10% - Quick Facts

WebTech Wireless Inc. (WEW.TO: News ), a provider of vehicle location-based and fleet telematics services, announced that it has reduced its full-time workforce by more than 10% and adopted other cost saving measures in an effort to lower its break-even point, enhance operational efficiency and ensure continued competitiveness.
"It's important to note that these changes are affecting only WebTech Wireless employees and not our Grey Island operations, where we are not making any changes. With the recently announced contract delays at WebTech Wireless, we needed to align our expenditures with the timing of the related revenues and this exercise is intended to achieve just that," said Anwar Sukkarie, President and CEO of WebTech Wireless.
