Following the release of Conference Board's November consumer confidence index at 10.00 am ET, the US dollar edged slightly lower against most of its major rivals. Currently, the greenback is quoted 1.6571 against the pound, 1.01 versus the Swiss franc and 1.4967 against the euro.
