The Turkish lira that plummeted to a 4-1/2 month low of 1.5557 against the US dollar at the beginning of Friday's European session snapped back shortly. The lira advanced more than 1.8 percent to 1.5275 versus the greenback before leveling off around 8:00 am ET. The dollar-lira pair, which closed yesterday's deals at 1.529 is presently worth 1.5305.
