Factory Orders Rose More Than Expected In May
Orders for manufactured goods increased by more than expected in the month of May, according to a report released by the Commerce Department on Thursday, although the report also showed a continued decrease in shipments.
The report showed that orders for manufactured goods rose 1.2 percent in May following a downwardly revised 0.5 percent increase in April. Economists had expected orders to rise 0.9 percent compared to the 0.7 percent increase originally reported for the previous month.

Turkey June Consumer Price Inflation Up, Producer Prices Drop
Friday, Turkey's statistical office TurkStat announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 5.73% year-over-year in June, faster than the 5.24% increase in the previous month. Economists were looking for an increase of 5.70%.
On a monthly basis, the CPI increased 0.11% in June, compared to the 0.64% growth in May. Economists had expected an increase of 0.1%.

Auckland Housing Market Continues To Perform Well In June
Friday, a report from Barfoot and Thompson said the housing market in Auckland continued to perform well in June.
"The Auckland housing market has made a remarkable recovery from the challenges experienced as a result of the past 18 months of economic downturn, Mr Peter Thompson, Managing Director of Barfoot & Thompson said.
