Tom Hanks created the number one app - Hanx Writer - in iTunes' app store for iPad. The program, which allows users to take notes on a screen that simulates a typewriter, launched on August 14 and quickly shot to number one on iTunes. "I write without caring about typeovers, XXXX'd out words, goofy syntax, & bad spelling because the feel & sound of a typewriter is satisfying in ways . . ."

Maxwell, Erykah Badu And Ledisi Team Up For R&B Caribbean Cruise

Erykah Badu, Ledisi and Maxwell are among the R&B stars to feature on the upcoming "Maxwell + the Seven Seas Caribbean Cruise," which sets sail from Florida's Port Canaveral on May 3. The trek, which lasts through May 10, stops in St. Thomas, St. Maarten and the private island of Cococay.

Chris Pratt has posted a picture of himself from his time being homeless in Hawaii. The "Parks and Recreation" actor posted the photo on Friday on his Facebook page. He noted of the shot, which shows him standing next to a van with Scooby Doo artwork on the outside and in which he is holding a script in his hand, "This is the van I lived in!!!"
